The parade traveled up Sixth Avenue from Canal Street to the mid-20s. There were a few floats scattered throughout, but the real members of the parade were the people. Over two million people take part in the parade each year, some watching and some walking. We, of course, walked in the parade. For a while it was super packed and walking was difficult, but it started spreading out after a while and got a lot more comfortable.
We walked for a while, dancing in the street and just running around talking to and about the other crazies. Thousands and thousands of people were lined up on the sidelines of the street watching the parade go by, but I was glad we were in it. At about 14th Street we headed off to find some food, which, of course, means we found a Wendy's and Taco Bell right next to each other and took part in the grease. Afterward, it was about 11 and everyone decided to kind of go their own way.

The subway at Union Square was insanely crowded and sort of gave me an idea of how it would be on New Years Eve. It took a good fifteen minutes just to get past the turnstiles. Aja and I headed back to my place uptown, hung out a little while, then went out dancing around 1. Three hours later, we were crashing on my air mattress, a successful night coming to an end.
