A Great Spiral of Drinking, or the Five Borough Pub Crawl

This past Sunday, a few friends and I accomplished an amazing undertaking: the Five Borough Pub Crawl. The idea sprung from the heads of Jenny and Kate during an eight hour road trip, and a few weeks later, there we were. There's no other way to tell this except through visuals, so here are some highlights and a map of the ultimate exploratory New York drunk-journey.

We kicked it off with some mimosas in Harlem.

Then some brunch at Bruckner's in the Bronx. (Amazing/crazy waiter included.)

We walked across a bridge back to Manhattan, even in a light drizzle of rain.

We went to the Beer Garden in Queens. (Deuces representing the second borough, of course.)

We rode the train. A lot.

We ate pizza at Alligator Lounge in Brooklyn.

We rode the train. A lot. More.

We barely made the 6:00 Staten Island Ferry after we ran from Bowling Green to the Ferry and boarded immediately. After striking a post-drunk-running victory photo, of course.

We took a tourist photo on the ferry.

We wandered Staten Island, the fourth borough.

We tallied points on t-shirts, napkins, and body parts.

We listened to the ocean in giant mugs we bought for $2 in Queens.

We had amazing bartenders.

We made it back to Manhattan, the fifth and final borough.

And finally, we counted up the points and awarded ourselves mutual winners.

So, what did you do Sunday?
