A Twit on Twitter

I wrote about this thing called Twitter about a year ago when I signed up. It was just starting to become big and I had a hard time convincing my friends to get on, but eventually they all did and now we're all obsessed with it. So obsessed, in fact, that I had to take a two-week break and then gradually get myself back onto it, only allowing a few posts a day instead of the 20-40 I used to tweet. "It's interesting to watch a Twitter feed during events like the debate or when Gmail crashes for a few minutes," I wrote back then, which is funny since Gmail is down right now and it's a trending topic.

Anyway, the reason for this post is a momentous occurrence that just... well, occurred. I just posted my 2,500th tweet! Sad, yes, but reason for celebration as well.


Here's to you, Twitter. May 2,500 more posts come, but not as quickly as the first 2,500. (I mean really, Zac, simmer down with the tweeting.)
